So my bud Thad, a fellow electronica enthusiast let me borrow some music of his. Actually it was quite a load of electronica. In the piles and piles of music, there was a gem. This gem was a group called “Infected Mushroom.” I absolutely love this group and it now moves up the ever growing list of music that I listen to up to position #3. First is Prodigy, then No Doubt, and now Infected Mushroom. So let me give a shout out to Thad for finding this group for me. Here is a description for the masses:
This israeli duo go a few steps beyond the standard and cough up not only classical pieces but also a harsh, funky and acidic flavour, making their trance journey an aural blast far surpassing the norm. Their tracks have a harsher, darker edge than your standard classics. Tending toward hard trance with a metallic tang.
Infected Mushroom take psychedelic trance and freestyle electronica beyond their boundaries by using a combo of acoustic and chunky electric guitars and distortions and mixing them up with acid tones, light melodic breaks, relentless beats and soaring angelic vocals.
All the while, the harshness of the music pounds throughout a brilliant combination of style and effect. The duo create a massively funkadelic atmosphere complete with experimental twangs, twists and ambient noises which play alongside deep bass and frantic beats. add in acidic flavour for another unusual but highly entertaining take on the electronic / trance genre

i love infected mushroom, i have a handful of their songs. it’s like the only techno i can listen to on a semi-regular basis.

on other topics, i have an idea. their was a blog article i read recently about generating traffic to a site. it had something to do with giving away free ipods for a purpose. so, the whiteness and I should have a competition. it really has nothing to do the iPod ad so now i feel stupid for mentioning it. anyway, here it is. welcome to the psychedelic era!!…finally some of the US people are turning their heads to psy!!….
still since most of psy song maybe a 95% of them are 8 minutes long, it wont feature on Mtv…which in a way is cool…and either on your radio stations, the US its not the place to be if u love psychedelic music these days.
im an Infected fan, got all their albums, and not only Infected. but Astrix, Void, Paranormal Attack, Goa Gil, terminator, Eskimo, 1200 micrograms, Dynamic, Sesto Sento…and the list goes on!

i am a techno,Industrial/trance artist i love inffected mushrooms, but what got me inspired into industrial and such was Skinny Puppy if ya never heard of them you should really check them out, they have a bunch of dark heavey industrial (some songs similar to INFTD MUSH)
