Well, I’m off to Disneyland/California Adventure again today. We stayed out a little later last night and went to downtown Disney and went to a pizza place called Naples. We had fun with family talking and joking and drinking long island iced teas.
Yesterday we took it a little easier than usual. We have been going at a pretty gruelling pace, so we took a break half way through the day and hung out at the pool and talked. It was very relaxing and I had a chance to talk to Toni’s Dad for awhile.
The highlight of the day yesterday was definitely the fireworks show. Every day so far we have been running around to both parks and have not had the chance to see that yet. It was awesome! There was music playing all around the park with clips of the voices from many Disney movies and rides. All of the fireworks and the castle were themed according to the music.
I was able to buy 50th anniversary Mickey Mouse ears and a Mickey Mouse 50th anniversary sweatshirt. Overall, yesterday was really fun and relaxing.
P.S. I’m working on getting those images up :)

sounds like your having a great time. I’m glad you and Toni are enjoying yourselves. Please take Toni on more scarey rides and scare teh sheit (muslim) out of her! Muwahahahahahahah! Pain out…
I am so glad you guys are having fun. What a perfect anniversary. Diego is still alive and kicking. Go check out it’s a small world so you have to live with horrid song in your head! Deann says to go to the tiki room!
Love ya’ll
James
most of the people inside the costumes are girls because you need to be short (5′3″ish), and a lot of people know this. because disney doesn’t want to escort some guy out while he’s screaming and shirtless, a lot of crimes go unpunished (or if punished, unseen). a lot of the girls inside the costumes get sexually assaulted a lot.
in the parade where mickey is sitting on top of his throne float, the legs are actually bolted to the chair so he won’t accidentally fall and get ran over.
disneyworld (not sure about land) is so powerful that they own the hospital in the area. if anybody ever dies at disney, they try to revive them even if their head is missing. then they put them on an ambulance and take them to the hospital where they’re declared dead. that way disney has a flawless safety records. nobody dies at disney, they die at the hospital.
at very minimum, one in ten people at disney is a security guard in civilian clothes.
interesting, huh? i had a friend that worked in disneyworld. he’s full of these crazy stories.
wow, interesting whiteness. i don’t know a lot about the behind-the-scenes for disneyland, but i assume that they need to do a lot of cover up.
I heard that beneath Matterhorn mountain there is a huge break room and a basketball court for the employees. I believe your story about the women in the costumes. On the first day, I was hugging tigger and bouncing with him and I noticed his body frame was really small.
Also, when I went to hug belle, she immediately stepped aside and told me not to. Of course she said it appropriately to character. She said “Ohhhh no you can’t do that, the Beast would be jealous. Stand like a prince like this.” She told me to offer my arm escort style.
It seems that Disneyland has to really cover their butts for lawsuits in this area. Funny thing….we ran into Mulan at Goofy’s Kitchen and she kissed Toni’s little brother on the cheek! We could sue Disney for that….hehe ;) The wierd thing is however that why would anyone want to sue such a great place? I know that Disney is a big name and overcharges and makes millions, but I just don’t see that as a reason for sueing. People that sue suck.
