So for the last few days, I have been bacchin’ it. I have missed my wife, but I have been able to get a lot done. I have been working on a few projects. I have been designing my portfolio section ( which has waited long enough ), workin on Travel Montana stuff ( sometimes into the evening ), hangin with Ed, searching for a schveet Spyderco knife for my birthday and I tried to install a new blog software, Symphony.

The portfolio section is looking good. You can see a lil’ peek to the left here, but not too much now! I don’t want to get you all excited. I really hope to have that up very soon. This website really isn’t anything without a portfolio section, really. I’d also like to implement some DHTML sweetness, so cross your fingers…this may be awesome.

Travel Montana stuff has been kickin my butt. However, I think I have found a solution to my problems. I have had a huge issue with server load problems. Basically we have two servers, one for the Oracle database and one for the Web Server. However, the dynamic pages are extremely database dependent and … for a lot of data on each page. Also, our dynamic pages are reused by over ten websites. So, basically visitmt.com is very overloaded and very slow. It’s pissin me off and I think I have found a solution. Maybe tomorrow the end of the tunnell is near.

Schveeeeet. Spyderco knives are the bomb. Really, they are sweet knives and I have always loved collecting them. I used to have a Bob Terzuola Starmate, one of their custom collaborations and I loved it the way a mother loves her children. Then, one fateful day I lost it. I have never been the same since. Then, my Dad told me he wanted to buy me a new knife for my birthday! Sweet blessed father. I have been dreaming about getting the Bob Lum Chinese Folder, seen above, for like 4 years now. Finally I get the opportunity and I have wasted like 4 hours searching for a knife that is not only discontinued, but very rare and popular. If anyone out there has one, I need it bad!

Also, wasted about an hour trying to install Symphony, for which I had a free copy ( thanks guys ). Symphony is a new blogging software/cms that is sposed to be really dang cool, but I have yet to see. Currenty I am using WordPress and that seems to work out great, so I wonder why I want to even change.
