Ok all,

Now I feel like the idiot. Shane, you are a good man. Today I received 2 shirts, 2 pairs of jeans from Volcom.com. My apologies for the pissed off comment. I think it was the whole “Have a nice life” comment is what got me questioning.

So I will comment further on these articles of clothing as soon as I get the time, but I do say thanks to Volcom.

p.s. The age old answer to the question “Is Santa Claus Real” is YES.

p.p.s. Volcom is now cooler than apple. Maybe my I love Apple link will now be I love Volcom. We’ll see ;)

Ok, here is the update. nem0, I think it is NOT blogging with benefits. I think that Volcom is too l33t a company to actually be generous, in fact Volcom is the kind of company that likes to make people feel special, when in fact they are screwing you over.

You know how Volcom jeans are $60-$80 a pop, yet make you feel cool? I think it odd that the Volcom IT guy shane made me feel good by offering free denim. It turns out that really I now feel like crap. The reason you ask? Here is Shane’s most recent email in response to my ever so cheesy email.

First lets start with my email:

Shane,

I didn’t know if I sent back to you in response to this, but I wanted to say thanks so much for your generosity at Volcom.com. This speaks highly to your company’s reputation in my book and also shows that you are a skilled nontraditional marketer. Once again, thanks so much.
