A friend is someone who is ready to accept you for who you are no matter what.Someone who can understand and is willing to know you.Someone who will not juge you but will correct you when you make a mistake.Someone who will love and cherish you and your views or ideas,a person who will always be there for you (good or bad situations), who can wish you good and will not envie you, someone who can support you(either spiritually, morally or physically).Someone you can rely on.That is my small understanding about 'friend'.Thank you.

A friend is someone who is with you through the thick and the thin. The sickness and the health. (hmmm sounding more and more like a marriage) But truly, its a lot like a marriage. A good friend will be someone by your side even when you dont see them. They worry, they smile, they laugh and they cry with you. No matter how far you push them away they stay close by your side. Ive gone through some hard times, and even though I did Push.. and I pushed hard, Toni and Rogie were still there. Silently worrying and patiently waiting for me, as my old self, to return. I have to say THANK YOU for that. Never once did they judge me (well atleast not to my face ha ha!) and never once did they let the idea of our friendship faulter. They were there to help catch me when I fell, and helped me get back up on my feet again. I keep my friends close and there is only truly a pocketfull that i call true friends.. and I will keep them and cherish them always.
I dunno if this fully answers the question.. but then again i was never really any good at answering questions! HAHA
I love you all!!! XOXOXO

I agree James. Our friendship is newish, but I enjoy it much. It was just the other day that I was telling Toni that I really missed you. You are a person that I can be myself around. I've always enjoyed the people that I can be a 'tard' around. There is something very calming about being able to let it all go around your friends.

Unfortunately, I think that people sometimes don't find that person where they can fully be themselves. They tend to shut themselves off from the world and become bitter and judgemental. I do not like bitter and judgemental people.

I used to always think that I needed to spend time with everyone, no matter how cruel or stupid they were, I felt that I had to hang out with them to be nice. Well, years later and my homeschooled naive mind slowly fading away, I like to think about the people I hang with in a different light. I heard someone once say,
Hang out with the people you admire and want to become like and you will become like them.
 This is more of what I try to do.

It is one of the blessings of old friends that you can afford to be stupid with them.
* Ralph Waldo Emerson

Rog, you've seen me stupid and seen me smart and you treat me the same either way. Our friendship may be newish but it's one I enjoy. If it wasn't for "I love you Toni & Rogie" who else would keep me hip with the reality tv? Another thing I appreciate (this is my shallowness coming out) you were willing to learn my music! The best I could say is listen to some Carol King "you've got a friend" and you'll have your answer.
