If you like spicy, Thai cuisine is very good and hot. Although where I live its not very hot, the spices are a little expensive to import I guess.

@Amy: Thanks for droppin' by again! Yeah, my parents are really into other cultures and especially their foods!

Thanks for that sidenote as well. I'll try to remember if I ever get pregnant, I will NOT eat wasabi.

Hope your family is doing well. My lil' boy is doing great. So cute, so funny. He's awesome.

@Jamie: Agreed. You gots to have the real deal...none of this fake crap. Also, this lesson is more for the Wasabi lovers that have found that they aren't built for the hot stuff naturally...but want to improve.

P.S. Thanks for commenting...good to hear from you.

I too love wasabi with my sushi, the problem is most the time it's not real wasabi. Places in the US utilize a powdered imitation made from horseradish, mustard seed, and green food coloring. But if you need wasabi lessons, should you even be allowed near it?

fyi: clicking on your 'general' tag that showed up in my Google Reader at the end of your post produced a 404 even though it worked fine when clicking it here in your blog - I'm just the messenger, I'll take a tray, or two, for payment though!
