During my month-long stint of full-time freelance work, I picked up a job for andCulture, a company I knew about through a friend I met on twitter, Larry Marburger.

andCulture needed a smooth and silky set of 36 icons for an Adobe Flex web application that they had been working on. I was happy to provide them with this icon set and it was a great learning experience, as it was my very first icon set to design for Komodo Media.

The result, I feel was a very nice looking set and fit well within their application. I was honored to have been able to work with andCulture and Francis Lukesh on this project. View more in the portfolio.

Stunning icon designs! Icons are so often overlooked in applications; it’s lovely to see a set that has both a consistent theme and is fantastic to look at.

What would you say are the most important things to remember when building a “family” of icons?

If you sold them (or released them), I’d love to get a copy of one.. :)

Go on, make some more. :D

    Dude!

I want to e-hump your leg. Your work and website are amazing. Okay, okay, maybe my response is a little over the top. I think I just want to high-five you until my palm absorbs some of that skill through osmosis.

    Does that sound better? lol
