    Great tutorial.

    If you are using CS5 you can just use the Combine options in the Properties Inspector. They auto group objects as you draw with whatever mode you want. It produces the exact same result only, you’re not limited the black/white drawbacks of convert to alpha :)

    @Rogie:

    Excellent tutorial! Very clever use of Convert-to-Alpha and Color Fill filters!

    @Craig:

    You are right, too. The new Compound Shapes options in the Property panel allow to achieve same (or almost same) end result! :)

    Hello: Great article, site, theme and writing style. I first took a liking to your CSS star rating stuff and then when trying to figure out what technology your site uses I had as much fun reading your code comments as I did reading the real content. So if you are a dork for posting data about the data, what does that make me if I’m reading your source data about data that describes its’ data? Anyway I book marked you and wanted to say very nice site. Is it MVC?

    I went to my local Chase branch over the Thanksgiving weekend and realized that the blinking light on the ATM is no longer green. It is now blue.
