It was an incredible honor to speak for the very first time, at Valiocon. I spoke on the art of loving your clients and how sacrifice, selflessness and commitment can take you far and help you create lasting friendships with your clients.

We really enjoyed your talk at ValioCon, Rogie. Especially when you convinced everyone in the audience to turn to their neighbors and tell them “I love you.” Really inspiring.

@Patrick awesome! So, so glad dude that it brought value. One of these days, we’ll actually get to hang out for more than 5 minutes :)

This was really awesome to watch, as someone who didn’t get to go to ValioCon. I have a question regarding your billing, since you hadn’t done Mac Apps before, did you bill your learning time to your client? How does that work?

Congratulations Rogie! I’ve seen many people failing at non tech-related topics like this one but even though it was your first talk ever you really rocked the hell out of it. I had to smile during the whole time while watching this and I even learned a very big lesson. Please keep being so cool with the community and participating to it like that because that’s why I love you so damn hard!

You are an inspiration and encouragement to a lot of people. I am proud to call you my friend. I was so excited to hear you speak and you knocked it outta the park. Even greater than your talk was showing by example how to be humble in a client relationship and how seeking relationships first is more important than money.

Very refreshing Rogie. Love hearing this perspective as opposed to the typical nightmare client stories. Way to be a light in this industry! Keep rockin’ it.

I thought you did a fantastic job (especially considering it was your first time speaking at a conference). I really dig the positive approach you take and discuss.

I wonder how many people felt really awkward saying ‘I love you’ to their neighbours. I think I would have… and I wish that wasn’t the case but I just would. Boom!
