Lets trade.' width='100' height='75' style='float:right;padding:0px;border:none;background:none;'/>Check it out. The waiting/trading game is on. I propose that I want a Nano, but I won't buy it. I want to trade. Time, Skills, a rock from my cool rock collection, Flash stuff, whatever. Lets see what you people want in trade for the lovely Nano.

iPod Nano. Why did they do it to me?

The iPod Nano has taken the world by storm. It seems to me that all those people that I knew that wouldn’t switch to a Mac product, wouldn’t be a traitor to all things Microsoft or other, have finally given in. Apple has pounded us with ads upon ads about iPod, iPod shuffle (life is random), iPod U2 (for the die hards), iPod 20-40GB, iPod mini (with colors for all). Finally I broke down and saved up and bought an iPod mini (silver) last year. I was so amused and enchanted by its sleek miniature design, after all, I always have been obsessed with all things mini, ever since Micro Machines.

So, as I am sure many people are feeling at this moment, I feel a wee bit jipped. After shelling out $250 for my iPod mini, with rough edges, bulky size, lower battery life, a monochromatic screen, and the lack of software to show photos, I want the Nano. I admit, I do have a slight problem with having to have the best, and this case is no exception. Naturally, I would buy the Nano outright, however, a little waiting game never hurt anyone ;).

The Waiting Game

I propose a waiting game. I am going to wait to get the iPod Nano until someone gives me one. I am NOT going to ask for one for a gift for say a future birthday or Christmas. I am going to wait for a offer…or a trade. Yeah…a trade. Remember the good ol’ days when you were a child and trading was an option? Instead of shelling out $7 for a Micro Machine Lamborghini with opening doors, you gave the kid a chunk of obsidian that your Grandpa gave to you as a trade? And guess what? It was worth that whole piece of beautiful black rock from your prized rock collection! Maybe this is my life I am talking about. Still, the trading game must live on.

The Trading Game

So I propose a wait until a trading game. Thats right, this is a plea for help. To all my readers and more, I would like YOU to propose a trade. What do you want in exchange for an iPod Nano?

A Logo?

A Sweet Design

A Flash thingy

Some CSS/Design help

Nothing?…I can dream, can’t I?

A recollection of my nerdiest memories?

Ok, I’m getting a little carried away, but you get my point. iPod Nano in exchange for a trade, or free. After some undisclosed amount of time transpires, I will review the offers, and I will make a trade with chess-strategy-like precision ;). I will wait.

P.S. Black and 4GB :)
