Dribbble is a website that asks the question “what are you working on?”. Designers post “shots”, a 400×300 screenshot of what they are working on. Optionally, designers can “rebound” another shot. It’s like riffing’ off of another’s work and making something your own out of it. It’s loads of fun.

To help spread the word about our charity:water campaign, I asked designers to rebound my shot. Whatever designer rocked the hardest and got the most “likes” by the Dribbble membership would win $50. Second place won a Stachetrooper tee-shirt. The submissions were amazing and overwhelming. I just want to thank all of the designers for their heartfelt messages, humor, talent and time in helping.

Woohoo! Two days in a row!?! I can’t believe it. Today, I’ll add one new icon to my social media icon set. I decided to add Playstation for selfish reasons. So there. I can do that.

Forrst

It’s been ages, ages since I last updated my social media icon set. Unfortunately, its not the kind of set that I can just let rot and file it away in some archive. As so many people use this set, I’ve got to press on and add to it as the web grows and as more social network sites become popular.

I’ve attempted to add icons six at a time. That’s not working for me at all. Each icon can take up to a half an hour, thus, you can see my conundrum. I never put away 3-6 hours to work on icons…ever anymore.

So, I’ll do it the possible way. One icon release at a time. Keep it simple. Release small, release often. This time, it’s Forrst. Next time, who knows!

Hey fellas. It’s me Christopher Walken (well, at least somebody that does his voice very very well). Did you know, that almost a billion people on the planet don’t have access to clean, safe drinking water. Thats one in eight of us!! Thats doesn’t work for me. They gotta have clean water!

This dirty water crisis is really tugging on the heartstrings of the community at Dribbble, so they’ve put together a raffle to raise funds for charity:water. All you gotta do is donate 5 dollars to charity water for a raffle ticket for a Dribble invite. Y’know, that really is the bees knees! Oh and guess what? They’ve got over 25 invites to give away, so theres a dang good chance you’ll get one!

Head on over to charity:water and put your name in. Since its a raffle, if you donate $20, your getting four chances at an invite, not to mention you’ll help four times as many people.

Were trying to raise a least $5000. That buys one well. Hey guys, lets do this!

Matthias Dietrich is a PHP and Perl social media and web application architect. As a German, soon to be international brand — he wanted a sexy (my words) logo/icon to evolve his brand and propel his business, Rainboxx further. He loved my style and I loved making this for him.
